DESCRIPTION
Have fun in this hands-on exploration of the basics of non-stitched bookbinding.This class has a minimum of 3 students. If the class has not reached that number a week prior to the class date, all students will be offered a refund or to transfer the value of their ticket.
Class Description
Cut, fold and glue a variety of fun creative books. We will make a variety of book structures with soft and hard covers. Using only the simplest set of tools, students will transform flat sheets of paper into in a variety of elegantly simple and dynamic structures. A variety of paper stock will allow for exploration of different effects in the finished products.
All materials and tools will be provided except for the fabric and no experience is necessary.
Project Takeaway
Students will take home books made in the class.

Jessica Sadlier is a Technocopia member with extensive experience in sewing, both garment and craft, and fiber arts. She is a multi-disciplinary designer and maker with an extensive history of creative projects and pursuits who has worked in a variety of disciplines including architecture, design tech, marketing, prop design and costume design. Jessica loves to combine various media and techniques to create interesting projects ranging from functional decor to wearable tech.
