DESCRIPTION
Learn how to safely operate our 90W laser cutter and LightBurn softwareThis class will ensure that you know how to operate our 90W laser cutter in a safe and efficient way. We will go over the set up to the laser itself, the LightBurn software, and the process of cutting and engraving. This certification will include access to a collection of files for basic practice and personal use. A separate class is available and necessary for our smaller, 40W laser.
Additional Information
This class has no pre-requisites. Norela Haviari is a multidisciplinary artist and self-taught graphic designer. She was immediately drawn to the precision nature of the laser cutter and has been involved as an instructor in several educational programs at Technocopia over the past 2 years. She enjoys bridging the gap between non-maker and maker by making learning accessible and relying on working smarter not harder, whenever possible. When she’s not working on commissions or teaching, Norela can be found fiddling around with new ideas, generally making a mess, or cooking up a storm.
